Macaroni Casserole

  • 2 c. large elbow macaroni
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Cook macaroni and salt in water approximately 15 minutes. Drain.

    Put half of macaroni in casserole dish.
  3. 3
    Slice half of cheese on top of macaroni.
  4. 4
    Pour in half of sweetened tomatoes. Repeat with other half of each.

    Put several slices of butter or margarine on top.

    Bake at 400° approximately 50 minutes.
