Macaroni Saute

Ingredients

  • 2 c. elbow macaroni (8 oz. pkg.), uncooked
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Saute raw macaroni, onion, green pepper and garlic in hot cooking oil just until macaroni turns slightly yellow.

    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

    Cover and simmer over low heat about 20 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    May need to add more water.
