  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. stew beef
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 c. celery, sliced
  • 1 to 2 large cans tomatoes
  • 3 to 4 c. cooked macaroni
  • 5 beef bouillon cubes

Directions

    Brown stew beef, cut into small pieces, in fat.

    Add onion and cook slowly until transparent.
  3. 3
    Add celery and then add enough water to cover beef well.
  4. 4
    Add bouillon cubes and simmer until beef is very tender.

    Add canned tomatoes (including juice) and macaroni.

    Heat and serve.

    A good soup for winter!
