  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/2 c. nutmeats, chopped fine
  • 2 c. cornflakes
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Add sugar, nuts, coconut, vanilla and flour.

    Beat gently after each addition only for a few seconds.

    Mix in cornflakes, gently folding by hand.

    Let stand for 5 minutes. Drop by small tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 300° for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
