- 1 1/2 lbs lean beef roast
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
- 2 low-sodium beef bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup salsa
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except the salsa in a slow cooker, and add just enough water to cover.

2Cover, and cook on low 10-12 hours, or until beef is tender.

3Drain and reserve the liquid.

4Shred beef using two forks to pull it apart.

5Combine beef, salsa, and enough of reserved liquidto make a desired consistency.

6Use` this filling for burritos, chapupas, or tacos.
