- 1 1/8 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 7 3/4 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- salt
Directions

1Sieve the flour with the baking powder.

2In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and frothy.

3Add the flour mixture, butter, extracts, and a pinch of salt. Mix all the ingredients well until smooth.

4Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow to rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

5Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

6Place a teaspoonful of mixture in each madeleine mold. Chill briefly.

7Bake for 5 to 6 minutes. When they begin to rise, lower the temperature to 180 C and bake for up to 6 minutes until golden brown.

8Allow to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
