   MIX together flour, baking powder and salt.

   Cut in shortening.

   Stir in milk until dough holds together.

   KNEAD on lightly floured surface.

   Pat dough 3/4 inch thick on floured surface.

   Cut with floured 1 3/4 inch cookie cutter.

   PLACE on cookie sheet and bake at 450C for 8 to 10 minutes.
