- 1 lb. sage sausage (Jimmy Dean)
- 2 slices white bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Crumble sausage in skillet; cook over medium heat until brown, stirring occasionally.

2Drain well.

3Spread bread cubes in a buttered 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish; top with sausage and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

4Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until set.
