- 9 large baking potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 12 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature), cut in small pieces
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook potatoes until tender.

2Drain and beat until light and fluffy.

3Beat in butter and cream cheese.

4Beat in sour cream and seasonings.

5Scrape into heavily buttered casserole.

6Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

7Bring to room temperature and bake, uncovered, at 300° for about 20 minutes.
