Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup dry milk
  • 1 teaspoon anise seed
  • 3 teaspoons almonds, sliced
  • oil (for frying)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Directions

    Add dry milk ,flour,funnel seed and milk.

    Blend well to obtain batter of pouring consistency.

    Boil sugar and water together till the syrup reaches one thread consistency.

    Heat oil in a flat frying pan.

    Pour a tbsp of the batter in the pan.

    Fry till done.

    Remove from ghee.

    Similarly make more puas.

    Dip these in the sugar syrup for a minute.

    Decorate with almonds.
