  • 23 cup butter or 23 cup margarine
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup chocolate instant malted milk powder
  • 14 cup water
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

    Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

    Beat in eggs and vanilla,mix well.

    Sift together flour,baking powder,salt,cocoa amd malted milk powder.

    Add alternately with water to creamed mixture.

    Fold in nuts.

    Chill 2 hours.

    Drop teaspoons of dough 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet.

    Bake at 350 about 12 minutes.

    Remove cookies and cool on wire rack.
