Malted Milkshakes

  • 8 ice cubes, crushed
  • 1 pint block vanilla ice cream, cut into cubes
  • 3 T. cocoa, sifted
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 3 T. malt extract

Directions

    Put 4 glass tumblers into the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.

    Put half the ice and half the ice cream into blender with half the cocoa, sugar, milk and malt.

    Blend for 2 minutes until frothy.

    Pour into 2 of the chilled tumblers.

    Top with scoop of ice cream (if desired).

    Use the remaining half ingredients to make the other 2 shakes.
