  • 1 cake Fleischmann's yeast (or 3 pkg. dry)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. shortening (1/2 Crisco, 1/2 butter)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
