Mango, Chili, and Lime Shake

  • 14 cup cold milk (whole or low-fat)
  • 14 cup lime juice
  • 14 teaspoon chili powder (to taste)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened until just melty at the edges (vanilla bean or original)
  • 2 cups sorbet, softened until just melty at the edges

Directions

    In a blender, combine all ingredients, Pulse several times to begin breaking up ice cream and sorbet.

    With blender off, use a silicone spatula to mash ice cream and sorbet mixture onto blades.

    Continue pulsing and stopping to mash until mixture is thick, smooth and moves easily in blender, about 1 minute.
