Ingredients

  • 10 large green mangos
  • 2 lb. sugar
  • 1/4 lb. dates
  • 1/4 lb. preserved ginger
  • 1/4 lb. sultanas
  • 6 chilies
  • 1 oz. garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3/4 bottle vinegar

Directions

    Peel and slice mangos.

    Salt and cover with water overnight. Strain and wash.

    Boil all ingredients (except sugar) until tender.

    Add sugar and simmer another 2 hours.

    Bottle and seal.
