  • 1 flat iron steak
  • 1 cup frozen mango; puree
  • 1 cup frozen peaches; puree
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 vegetable oil; as needed
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp ancho chile powder
  • 2 tsp allspice
  • 2 tsp ground coriander seed
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 salt and peppercorn melange

Directions

    Combine pureed fruits, orange juice, honey, rum, and cayenne pepper.

    Marinate steak overnight.

    Rinse and pat steak dry.

    Coat with enough oil to cover.

    Season with dried spices.

    Grill approximately 5-8 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
