- 2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- 1 recipe basic tomato sauce
- 8 oz. manicotti
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Mix cottage cheese, Mozzarella, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, pepper and butter.

3Pour a thin layer of tomato sauce into bottom of a large shallow baking dish.

4Spoon some of the cheese filling into each manicotti and place in a single layer over sauce.

5Pour remaining sauce over manicotti and sprinkle with the 1/4 cup Parmesan.

6Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Serves 5 to 6.
