- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (32 oz.) can Prego sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 lb. cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 tsp. chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 small box manicotti noodles
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown beef and onion, drain.

2Add Prego sauce.

3In bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

4Boil manicotti noodles in salted water for 3 to 5 minutes.

5Add noodles carefully so as not to break; drain gently.

6After noodles cool, fill with cheese mixture (egg, cottage cheese and Parmesan).

7In baking dish, pour thin layer of sauce.

8Arrange filled noodles over sauce.

9Make sure noodles do not touch.

10Pour remaining sauce over noodles.

11Top with remaining Parmesan cheese.

12Cover and bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
