  • 1 pkg. manicotti noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 egg
  • 2 pieces toast
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 c. Colby/Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 can Hunt's ready Italian tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

    Cook noodles according to package directions.

    Brown and drain beef or sausage.

    Mix the meat, egg, toast, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese and garlic salt together.

    Stuff meat mixture into cooked noodles. Place stuffed noodles into baking dish.

    Mix tomato sauce, paste, 1 can of water (use paste can) and seasonings together; pour over noodles.

    Cover with remaining cheese.

    Bake in preheated 350° oven until cheese is completely melted.
