Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. ground beef or chuck
  • 1 to 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 12 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • manicotti noodles (14)
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 30 oz. spaghetti sauce

Directions

    Brown meat and garlic in skillet. Drain fat. In mixing bowl, blend next 4 ingredients; stir in meat. Prepare manicotti noodles according to package directions.

    Fill each noodle with cheese and meat mixture and place in greased baking dish. Sprinkle with any remaining filling and cover with spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese and cover pan with foil. Bake in a 325° oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes more. Serve 4 to 6.
