- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine flour, bacon, baking powder and salt.

2In another bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients together.

3Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

4Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 400F for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
