  • 1 cup maple sugar
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 14 cup water
  • 12 teaspoon almond extract
  • walnuts

Directions

    Cook together the sugars& water to 240,or softball stage.

    Add the extract in.

    Let cool until lukewarm.

    When lukewarm,beat until mixture is creamy but firm.

    Knead mixture until it is smooth.

    Shape into small sized balls.

    Press a walnut in each.
