- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. unbleached flour
Directions

1Boil maple syrup and butter together for 1/2 minute.

2Allow to cool to room temperature.

3Add flour and nuts.

4Mix well.

5Drop by small teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.

6Allow at least 3 inches between cookies.

8Bake at 325° for 8 to 10 minutes.

9Cool on baking sheet for 30 to 60 seconds and remove very carefully, using an upside down spatula.

10Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

11They do not freeze well.

12Store warm and dry.
