Maple-Pecan Carrots

- 1/2 c. water
- dash of salt
- 4 c. sliced fresh carrots
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp. maple-flavored syrup
Directions

1In medium saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil.

2Add carrots; cover and cook over medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes or until tender.

3Drain; cover to keep warm.

4Melt butter in pan on low heat; stir in syrup.

5Add carrots.

6Cook until carrots are well glazed, stirring constantly.

7Serve, topped with pecans. Makes 6 (1/2-cup) servings.
