  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c. coarsely broken pecans

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly; add the sugar, flour, corn syrup and butter.

    Beat until blended.

    Cover bottom of pie shell with pecans.

    Pour syrup mixture over pecans.

    Bake in a preheated 375° oven until the center is firm, 40 to 45 minutes.

    Cool on a wire rack.

    Serve with unsweetened whipped cream if desired.
