Maple Pecan Pound Cake

- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- dash of salt
- 6 egg yolks
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. maple flavoring (1 oz.)
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 6 beaten egg whites
- 1 c. sour cream (8 oz.)
Directions

1Combine flour, soda and salt; set aside.

2Cream the butter and sugar.

3Add egg yolks, one at a time, and beat well after each one. Add flour alternately with sour cream.

4Add flavoring and nuts. Fold in egg whites.

5Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300°.

6Cool in pan.
