Ingredients
- 6 thick cut pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves
- 14 cup real maple syrup
- 14 cup whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375.

2Add half of the olive oil to a large oven safe pan.

3Quickly sear the pork chops till they are just browned on each side and remove them and set aside in a baking pan.

5Add remaining oil and saute onion and garlic until onions are transparent being careful not to burn the garlic.

6Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer.

7let simmer for 5 - 6 minutes.

8Pour sauce over pork chops in the baking pan and cover.

9Cook for 35 - 45 minutes basting occasionally.

10uncover and cook 10 more minutes.

11Use a corn starch slurry to thicken sauce if desired.
