- 1 3/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. pure maple syrup
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and spice; set aside.

3Combine remaining ingredients.

4Stir into dry ingredients just until blended (do not overmix).

5Fill paper lined or greased muffin pan 3/4 full.

6Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

7Cool 5 minutes.

8Remove from pan.

9Serve warm.
