- 10 to 12 pear halves
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. pear juice or water
- maple syrup
- cinnamon
- pecans
Directions

1Combine pear juice, brown sugar and oil in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.

2Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice, maple syrup and cinnamon.

3Arrange pear halves, cut side up, in a small, shallow baking dish.

4Sprinkle with pecans.

5Pour brown sugar mixture over pears and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Serves 4.
