- 7 ounces butter, plus butter for greasing
- 4 ounces maple syrup
- 5 ounces light brown sugar
- 10 1/2 ounces porridge oats
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F

2Grease and line a 10 x 6 x 1.5in tin with baking parchment.

3Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the syrup and sugar, then simmer until the sugar has almost dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats.

4Spoon into the prepared tin and bake for 25 minutes.

5Cool and mark into 16 squares.

6Turn out and cool completely before cutting into the squares.
