Maple Walnut Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a bowl.

2Add walnuts, stirring to cook evenly with flour mixture. Combine milk, eggs, oil, syrup and vanilla.

3Add all at once to flour mixture and stir only to dampen dry ingredients.

4Turn batter into greased loaf pan.

5Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes, then turn onto rack to cool completely.

6Wrap cooled bread in foil and store overnight for easier slicing.

7Serve with butter or cream cheese.
