Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate or 5 tablets cocoa (I use cocoa)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Daisy sour cream
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Directions

    Combine softened cream cheese and sugar, mixing well until well blended.

    Add 1 egg; mix well.

    Combine margarine, water and squares of chocolate or cocoa in saucepan.

    Bring to boil.

    Remove from heat; stir in combined flour and sugar.

    Add 2 eggs, sour cream, soda and salt; mix well.

    Pour into a greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan on cookie sheet.

    Spoon cream cheese mixture over chocolate batter.

    Cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect.

    Sprinkle with chocolate pieces.

    Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick is inserted in center and comes out clean.
