Marbled Haupia

Ingredients

  • 2 cans coconut milk (frozen)
  • cornstarch
  • salt
  • sugar
  • water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa or chocolate syrup

Directions

    Cook haupia as directed on the back of the coconut milk can (uses cornstarch, salt, sugar and water).

    Add vanilla after haupia is cooked.

    Take out 1 cup of cooked haupia and stir chocolate into it (more for extra dark chocolate).

    Pour remaining haupia in a pan.

    Drizzle chocolate mixture over poured pan of white haupia.

    Pull a knife zigzag through the haupia to marbleize the chocolate.
  7. 7
    Refrigerate to set.
