Ingredients

  • 6 lbs trimmed beef brisket
  • 2 cups chili sauce
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 1 12 cups red wine vinegar
  • 2 large sweet onions, chopped
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup catsup

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together and pour over brisket.

    Marinate in refrigerator over night.

    Place in covered roasting pan and bake at 350 degrees until tender, basting occasionally.

    It will need to cook for 3-4 hours at least.

    IT's best if cooled, sliced and allowed to sit in the gravy before serving.

    IT's even better the next day.
