Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 medium onion, chopped or 1/3 c., heaped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. Campbell's tomato soup
  • 3 Tbsp. Mazola salad oil
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. yellow salad mustard

    Peel carrots and slice penny size.

    Cook in salted water until just tender, uncovered.

    Drain.

    Mix well tomato soup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salad oil and mustard.

    Add to other ingredients and mix easy.

    Let marinate 12 to 24 hours in refrigerator before serving.

    Keeps in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks, covered well.
