  • 5 c. or 2 lb. cleaned carrots, cut in thick slices approximately 1/2-inch
  • 1 c. tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper

    Cook carrots 10 minutes; drain and set aside.

    Bring tomato mixture to boil.

    Pour over carrots and set aside.

    Chop 1 medium onion and cut up 1 large green pepper.

    Add to carrots. Refrigerate overnight.
