Ingredients
- 2 lb. or 2 bags carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 or 2 strips celery, chopped
- 1/2 or 1 small green pepper, cut in thin strips
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. mustard
Directions

1Cook the carrots in salt water (not done).

2Drain off and cool in ice water.

3While cooking the carrots, prepare the vegetables. Set aside.

4After carrots are cooled, mix all together in a bowl. Set aside.

5Put the remaining ingredients in a saucepan.

6Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

7Cool slightly.

8Pour over vegetables and mix well.

9Refrigerate for 12 hours or overnight.
