- 2 lb. carrots
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 green pepper, cut in thin strips
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 can tomato soup (10 1/2 oz.; undiluted)
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Wash and scrape carrots.

2Cut or slice 1/4 inch thick.

3Cook in boiling salted water; drain.

4Cool.

5Combine carrots with onion rings and green pepper in large bowl.

6Combine soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

7Bring to a good boil; stir.

8Pour hot mixture over vegetables.

9Cool.

10Cover and refrigerate overnight.
