Marinated Cauliflower

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen 5-minute cook cauliflower
  • 1 envelope onion Italian mild, Italian or garlic salad mix
  • vinegar, water and salad oil
  • lettuce leaves

Directions

    Prepare cauliflower as directed on package; drain.

    Meanwhile, prepare salad dressing mix with vinegar, water and salad oil as directed.

    Lay lettuce leaves in bottom of bowl.

    Put cauliflower over lettuce and pour 1/2 cup salad dressing over vegetables. Chill at least 3 hours.

    Garnish with minced scallions and crumbled cooked bacon if desired.

    Makes about 2 cups or 3 servings.
