- 1 (5 lb.) beef chuck roast (about 3 inches thick)
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions

1Pierce roast all over on both sides.

2Place in casserole. Combine oil, catsup, wine vinegar, salt, pepper and garlic; pour over roast.

3Cover and marinate 12 to 18 hours.
