- 1/2 c. La Choy soy sauce
- 1/4 c. Wesson oil
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh ginger root
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 (2 to 3 lb.) flank steak
Directions

1In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except steak; mix well.

2Score flank steak on both sides.

3Place in glass baking dish; pour marinade over all.

4Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours; turn once.

5Barbecue or broil steak 6 inches from heat, about 5 minutes on each side, to desired doneness; baste occasionally with marinade.

6To serve, slice thinly across grain.

7Makes 4 to 6 servings.
