  • 2/3 c. tarragon vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans mushroom crowns, drained

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except mushrooms and bring to a boil (stovetop or microwave).

    Add marinade to mushrooms, cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
