Ingredients

  • 1 lb. small mushrooms
  • 3/4 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 bay leaf, crumbled
  • 1 tsp. tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crumbled or crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped chives or parsley flakes

Directions

    Rinse mushrooms quickly and wipe with a damp towel.

    Combine the above ingredients and pour over the mushrooms.

    Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.

    Stir occasionally.
