Marinated Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 12 to 16 small mushrooms
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Separate onion slices into rings.

    Combine all ingredients, except mushrooms, in small pan.

    Bring to boil.

    Meanwhile, wash and boil mushrooms.

    Add to mixture in saucepan after drained. Simmer 5 to 6 minutes.

    Cool and chill in a covered bowl for several hours.
