- 2/3 c. tarragon vinegar or cider vinegar with 1/4 c. dried tarragon
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, quartered
Directions

1Mix everything except mushrooms in pan.

2Boil mixture.

3Pour over mushrooms and let cool.

4Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve with toothpicks and pieces of crackers to catch marinade.
