Marinated Olives

  • 1 jar of Green olives (pitted or unpitted) in brine
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or sliced
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Directions

    Drain the olives from the brine well.

    You can rinse under cold water if you like.

    Then place olives in a small bowl.

    Add the chopped garlic, garlic salt, oregano and olive oil.

    Mix all together.

    Cut the lemon in half and squeeze about 2 tablespoons of juice onto the olives.

    Then cut as thinly as you can a few slices from the other half of the lemon and add to the olives.

    Let the olives marinade in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours prior serving.
