- 1 thick flank steak or London broil (about 1 1/2 lb.)
- 2/3 c. dry red wine
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. oregano, crumbled
- 1/8 tsp. marjoram, crumbled
- freshly ground black pepper
Directions

1Mix together the wine, soy sauce and seasonings.

2Place the steak in a long glass baking dish and pour the marinade over the meat.

3Cover and chill at least 12 to 18 hours, turning the meat over once or twice.

4Preheat the broiler.

5Remove the steak from the marinade.

6Pat dry and broil 4-inches from the heat for about 5 minutes on each side.

7To serve, cut thin slices diagonally across the grain.

8Serve with rice.
