Ingredients

  • 1 can French beans
  • 1 can tiny garden peas
  • 1 can white Shoe Peg corn
  • 1/2 c. green pepper
  • 1/2 c. shredded carrots
  • 1/2 c. chopped red onion
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/3 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. white vinegar

Directions

    Drain French beans, peas and corn.

    Set aside vegetables. Make marinade with sugar, black pepper, salt, vegetable oil and white vinegar.

    Bring to a boil in a saucepan.

    Let cool.

    Add vegetables and let set overnight.

    Will keep for 2 to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
