Marshmallow Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 5 oz. marshmallows
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • chopped nuts (if desired)

Directions

    Mix sugar, butter, evaporated milk and marshmallows.

    Put in heavy 2-quart saucepan.
  3. 3
    Cook quickly to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Add chocolate chips and stir until dissolved.

    Pour into buttered pan and cool in refrigerator.

    Makes 2 pounds of fudge.

    May add chopped nuts, if desired.
