- 8 whole catfish
- a little garlic powder
- a little salt
- 4 c. cornmeal
- 2 c. oil
Directions

1First clean the fish.

2Cut the fish into filets.

3Then sprinkle filets with garlic powder and salt.

4Next, pour oil into frying pan and turn stove on to medium-high heat.

5While the oil gets hot, put cornmeal in bowl and dip filets in cornmeal. When oil is hot, fry the filets until golden-brown.

6Serve catfish hot, with a salad.
